Welcome to Blue Bin Crew. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you ("Client", "you") and Blue Bin Crew LLC ("Company", "Blue Bin Crew", "we", "us", "our"). By submitting a quote request, creating a booking, making a payment, communicating with our automated or human representatives, or otherwise using our website or services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Please read Section 19 (Dispute Resolution; Binding Arbitration; Class-Action Waiver) carefully. It affects how disputes are resolved, requires most disputes to be handled by individual arbitration rather than in court, and waives your right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action, unless you opt out as described.
1. Eligibility & Acceptance
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate. If you use the Services on behalf of a household, business, landlord, or other entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that party to these Terms.
2. Who We Are: Marketplace & Independent Contractors
Blue Bin Crew operates a technology-enabled platform that connects Clients seeking cleaning services with independent, third-party cleaning professionals ("Cleaners"). Cleaners are independent contractors, not employees, agents, partners, or joint venturers of Blue Bin Crew. Blue Bin Crew arranges, schedules, and supports cleaning engagements and sets quality standards, but the cleaning work itself is performed by independent Cleaners who control the manner and means of their work, supply their own labor, and accept or decline engagements at their discretion.
Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between Blue Bin Crew and any Cleaner, or between Blue Bin Crew and any Client. Blue Bin Crew does not direct the moment-to-moment cleaning methods of any Cleaner and is not responsible for the acts, errors, or omissions of Cleaners except as expressly stated in these Terms.
Where these Terms or our marketing refer to services "we" perform, such references describe services arranged and stood behind by Blue Bin Crew and carried out by independent Cleaners, and do not alter the independent-contractor relationship described above.
3. Background Screening
Blue Bin Crew takes reasonable steps to vet Cleaners, which may include background screening and identity verification. No screening process is perfect or guarantees future conduct. Blue Bin Crew does not warrant the background, character, or performance of any individual Cleaner beyond the satisfaction guarantee in Section 10, and screening does not make Blue Bin Crew liable for the independent acts of any Cleaner except as expressly provided here.
4. Services
Blue Bin Crew arranges residential and commercial cleaning services in the Tampa Bay area. The scope of each cleaning is based on the information you provide at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse, reschedule, or adjust any service, and to adjust pricing on arrival if the actual condition or size of the property materially differs from what was described (see Section 7).
5. Quotes & Pricing
All quotes are estimates based on Client-provided information, including property size, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, square footage, and service type. Your personalized quote page always reflects your current price; if anything elsewhere conflicts with that page, the page controls. Final pricing may vary based on the actual condition of the property at the time of service, and any change will be communicated before work begins. Recurring discounts apply only while you remain on an active recurring schedule. We may adjust recurring pricing with 7 days' written notice.
6. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed only when you have received confirmation from Blue Bin Crew and, where applicable, completed payment or payment authorization. Submitting a quote form, speaking with our assistant, or receiving an estimate does not by itself constitute a confirmed booking. We reserve the right to decline any request at our sole discretion.
7. On-Arrival Reassessment & Upcharges
Every quote is based on the size and condition of the property as described by the Client at the time of booking. When the Cleaner arrives, they will briefly verify the property against that description. If the property is materially larger, or in a substantially dirtier, more cluttered, or more heavily soiled condition than was described, the original quote no longer reflects the actual work required.
In that event, before any cleaning begins, the Cleaner will present a revised price reflecting the true scope. The Client may then either:
- Approve the revised price, and the Cleaner will proceed; or
- Decline and cancel the appointment, in which case a flat $49 trip fee applies (rather than the standard cancellation fee), reflecting the Cleaner's travel and reserved time. This is the only charge in this scenario — the larger same-day cancellation and no-show fees in Section 8 do not apply when a Client declines a revised price on arrival.
This policy protects the Client from unexpected mid-service charges and protects the Cleaner from performing unpaid, out-of-scope work. No additional charge is ever applied without the Client's approval first.
8. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a fee of 50% of the quoted service price. Once the Cleaner is en route to your property, or in the case of a no-show or lockout, the fee is 100% of the quoted service price. For prepaid appointments, any amount above the applicable fee is automatically refunded to your original payment method. These fees compensate the Cleaner for travel and reserved time that cannot be reassigned.
If we must reschedule. On rare occasions Blue Bin Crew may be unable to staff a confirmed appointment—for example, an assigned Cleaner becomes unavailable and no replacement can be arranged in time. If this happens, we will notify you promptly and reschedule your cleaning at the earliest convenient time. As a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience, we will also apply a $25 service credit toward your rescheduled clean; where the cleaning was prepaid, this $25 is refunded to your original payment method. This credit is our agreed remedy for a missed appointment caused by Blue Bin Crew. It does not apply to cancellations or rescheduling initiated by the Client, or to delays caused by access issues, weather, or other conditions outside our control.
9. Access to Property; Unsafe or Hazardous Conditions
The Client is responsible for providing safe, unobstructed access to the property at the scheduled time. If the Cleaner cannot access the property (locked out, no-show, aggressive pet, etc.), the appointment is treated as a same-day cancellation and the corresponding fee applies.
Cleaners are not required to work in conditions that pose a health or safety risk, including but not limited to biohazardous materials, bodily fluids, mold, severe hoarding, pest infestations, extreme temperatures, or properties without running water or electricity. If such conditions are discovered on arrival, the appointment may be cancelled and a cancellation fee may apply. You agree that the property is reasonably safe for the Cleaner to enter and work in.
10. Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the work. If you are not satisfied with any area of the clean, notify us within 24 hours of completion and we will arrange a re-clean of the affected area at no additional charge. To document your request and dispatch the re-clean, we may ask for a brief description and photos of the area(s) of concern. Dissatisfaction reported after 24 hours may not qualify. The guarantee applies to the quality of cleaning performed; it does not cover pre-existing conditions, damage, or items outside the agreed scope. This re-clean is your primary remedy for quality concerns.
Photo documentation & promotional use. Our Cleaners take before-and-after photos of the work for quality assurance and your service record. By booking, you grant Blue Bin Crew a non-exclusive license to use these photos to document the work and, on occasion, in marketing or promotional materials. We never display your name, address, or any personally identifying information, and we exclude images that show people or personal belongings. 11. AI Assistants, Automated Communications & Call Recording
Blue Bin Crew uses artificial-intelligence assistants and automated systems to help answer questions, provide quotes, schedule appointments, and send notifications across phone, web chat, and text message. When you interact with our assistant "Alex," you may be communicating with an AI system rather than a human. We disclose this when asked, and a human follows up on bookings.
Automated and AI-generated responses, quotes, and availability are provided for convenience and may contain errors; no booking, price, or appointment is final until confirmed by our system or a representative. You should not rely on an AI statement that conflicts with your written confirmation or your personalized quote page.
Phone calls to or from Blue Bin Crew may be monitored or recorded for quality, training, scheduling, and record-keeping, and we disclose this at the start of calls. By continuing a call after that disclosure, or by communicating with us by chat or text, you consent to such recording and processing. Details on how we handle this information are in our Privacy Policy.
12. SMS Communications
Blue Bin Crew operates a recurring SMS messaging program for service and customer-care notifications. By checking the optional SMS consent box on our quote, commercial, or booking form, you consent to receive SMS messages from Blue Bin Crew including appointment confirmations, booking notifications, reminders, and customer-care messages. Checking this box is not required to request a quote or to book a service. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at (813) 723-1481. Mobile opt-in information is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
13. Payment
Payment or payment authorization is due at the time of booking or service unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit and debit cards and other methods we may offer; card payments are processed by third-party payment processors, and by paying you also agree to their terms. You authorize us and our processors to charge the applicable amounts, including approved on-arrival adjustments, applicable cancellation or trip fees, and taxes. Returned payments or chargebacks incur a $35 processing fee. Initiating a chargeback for a completed service that conforms to these Terms is a breach of this agreement. Accounts with outstanding balances may be suspended until resolved.
14. Non-Solicitation of Cleaners
Cleaners are engaged through Blue Bin Crew. You agree not to directly hire, contract, solicit, or arrange cleaning services with any Cleaner introduced to you through the Services, outside of the Blue Bin Crew platform, for 24 months after your last appointment. Because the actual damages from circumventing the platform are difficult to calculate, you agree that a violation entitles Blue Bin Crew to liquidated damages of $2,500 per Cleaner, representing a reasonable pre-estimate of the cost to recruit, screen, and train a replacement, and not a penalty.
15. Acceptable Use & Conduct
You agree to treat Cleaners and our staff with respect and to provide a lawful, non-hostile, non-discriminatory environment free of harassment, threats, or unsafe conditions. You will not use the Services for any unlawful purpose, misrepresent the property or scope, attempt to interfere with or reverse-engineer our systems, or submit false or fraudulent information. We may suspend or terminate access to the Services, and Cleaners may decline or stop service, if this Section is violated.
16. Liability, Damage Claims & Limitation of Liability
Blue Bin Crew carries general liability insurance. If you believe a Cleaner caused damage to your property, you must notify us in writing within 24 hours of the appointment. Claims reported after 24 hours will not be accepted. We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or items already in fragile condition;
- Damage to improperly secured, unstable, mounted, or antique items;
- Items of extraordinary value not disclosed in writing before service;
- Cash, jewelry, or other valuables left accessible during service;
- Damage caused by Client-supplied products, equipment, or instructions;
- Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages of any kind.
We strongly recommend securing valuables and fragile items before each appointment.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Blue Bin Crew arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Blue Bin Crew for the specific service giving rise to the claim, or (b) $250. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Except for the satisfaction guarantee in Section 10 and any non-waivable warranties, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available," and we disclaim all other warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
17. Assumption of Risk & Indemnification
You acknowledge that cleaning involves inherent risks and that you are responsible for accurately describing your property and securing your belongings. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Blue Bin Crew LLC and its owners, officers, and representatives from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising out of: (a) your breach of these Terms; (b) your misuse of the Services; (c) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party; or (d) conditions at your property that you failed to disclose.
18. Referral Program
Blue Bin Crew may offer referral credits to Clients. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and may be applied only toward future cleaning services. We may modify or discontinue the referral program at any time.
19. Dispute Resolution; Binding Arbitration; Class-Action Waiver
Please read this Section carefully. Most disputes can be resolved quickly by contacting us at (813) 723-1481 or bluebincrew@gmail.com, and you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us and allowing 30 days to work it out.
If a dispute is not resolved informally, you and Blue Bin Crew agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will be resolved by final and binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except as stated below. Arbitration will be administered by a recognized arbitration provider (such as the American Arbitration Association) under its applicable consumer rules, and may take place in Pasco County, Florida, or by phone, video, or written submission where the rules allow. The arbitrator decides all issues, except that a court may decide the enforceability of this Section.
Class-Action and Jury Waiver. You and Blue Bin Crew agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. You and Blue Bin Crew waive any right to a jury trial. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims.
Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies, and either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to protect intellectual property or stop unauthorized use of the Services.
30-Day Opt-Out. You may opt out of this arbitration and class-waiver Section by emailing bluebincrew@gmail.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms, stating your name and intent to opt out. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
20. Force Majeure
Blue Bin Crew is not liable for any failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, natural disasters, illness, labor shortages, utility or network outages, or acts of government. We will make reasonable efforts to reschedule affected appointments.
21. Governing Law & Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to Section 19, any matter not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in or serving Pasco County, Florida, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.
22. Privacy
Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your personal information, including mobile and SMS opt-in data, with third parties for marketing purposes.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, which is always available at bluebincrew.com/terms. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
24. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect, and the unenforceable provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any booking confirmation, are the entire agreement between you and Blue Bin Crew regarding the Services. Section headings are for convenience only.
